Maryville College has taken the lead on another set of environmental initiatives in the Blount County community.

The Maryville College Youth Chorale is looking for young and talented singers, ages 9 to 14, for a fun and spirited holiday concert. Auditions for the chorale will begin at 4 p.m., Sept. 2 and Sept. 9 in room 103 of the College’s Bartlett Hall.

The choral music program at Maryville College is pleased to announce that Mr. Alan Eleazer will be serving as the guest director of the Maryville College Community Chorus for the upcoming 2008-2009 performance season.

The Orchestra at Maryville College will begin rehearsals for its 2008-2009 season at 7 p.m., Aug. 25 at the Maryville High School music annex.
