Connecticut College today announced a partnership with Zipcar Inc. to provide cars on demand to students, faculty and staff. The college has also contracted with Livery Limited LLC to upgrade the Camel Van shuttle service, which transports students to popular locations in the area, including downtown New London and the Crystal Mall.

With a $500,000 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Connecticut College becomes the newest institution selected to participate in the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program (MMUF), a program dedicated to increasing the number of minority students and others with a demonstrated commitment to eradicating racial disparities who will pursue a Ph.D. in core fields in the arts and sciences.
