Harborfest Celebrates the Fourth with a Bang
As a hotbed in the struggle for independence, Boston had its fair share of rabble-rousing. Remember that Tea Party? The Boston Massacre? The shot heard round the world? Boston Harborfest keeps that patriotic spirit alive with a six-day Fourth of July celebration featuring more than 200 events, including historical reenactments, walking tours, sunset harbor cruises, and free concerts on City Hall Plaza. Events began July 1, and continue through Sunday, July 6.

A New HVAC System for BU’s Scientists
The Metcalf Science Center, located at 590 Commonwealth Ave., will be closed for the next six weeks as the climate control system (HVAC) for the building is replaced. The closure, which will last until August 15, affects students, staff, and faculty affiliated with the physics, biology, and chemistry departments.
