What Makes Our School Unique

The Daniels College of Business, University of Denver

Today the world of business is a world of exponential change. Technical business skills count as much as ever. But, along with finance and marketing and IT, you must now ready yourself with transferable skills that will guide you in the future – and prepare you for jobs that don't exist today and problems that haven't yet been defined.

At the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, we take our position as accountable citizens of a global community seriously. So seriously, we have created a core curriculum called The Daniels Compass that integrates business fundamentals, innovation and corporate social responsibility to create better professionals and better leaders. Required courses that are embedded in our MBA, MS and other graduate programs, The Daniels Compass makes sustainable development and alignment of corporate, community and personal values an integrated part of the curriculum.

One of the first business schools established in the U.S., with continuous AACSB accreditation since 1923, Daniels built a curriculum based on business ethics and leadership long before it became the norm. The Wall Street Journal has recognized Daniels for four consecutive years, most recently ranking us seventh in the world for producing students with high ethical standards. In 2007, Daniels ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 1 regionally in the BusinessWeek rankings of part-time MBA programs.

Daniels offers thirteen graduate degrees. They include: MBA (full-time and part-time), Professional MBA, Executive MBA, International MBA, Master of Accountancy, MS in Business Intelligence, MS in Finance, MS in Management, MS in Taxation, MS in Marketing, MS in Real Estate and Construction Management and an Executive Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management. A dual degree option is also available.
